When Tinky, the first guardian was introduced, many players loved her for the additional stat she gives but not helping in hunting to kill monsters. Then along came our new rare for September: Candle; a Guardian who can fight to protect and gives additional stats to support. Now, we present to you Candle Guardian.
You can get Candle Guardian by using the gold, silver and bronze keys. Just like Tinky, Candle also has ten affinity states that affect the extra stats up to +10Str, +10 Dex and +10 Vit, maximum. When it attacks with the fire attribute, the attack power of fire attribute is increased 1.5 times. Candle has no life (hp), so no need to worry about monsters attacking her.
Candle Guardian also has special skills, including these listed here:
- She also raises the character's HP at a certain rate during a battle.
- She increases the character's damage at a certain rate during a battle.
- When manufacturing, the time will be shortened at a certain rate.
- Freezing will be defrosted at a certain rate.
- Candle will attack the enemy at a set rate when your character is damaged.
Please always remember that Candle's ability is not effective unless she is summoned, and whenever she uses a special ability, the affinity level will be consumed. Like Tinky, you can increase her affinity by using "Essence of Nature." Lastly, Candle is not tradable, but you can send one by using mailbox. (Sending is available only between the characters on the same account).

Q2: Are there any new items that can boost up my stats?
ZedGM: Yes! There is a new set of crystals available in the Item Mall that can boost your stats and even your manufacturing skills! Just type in "Crystal" in the Item Mall Search box and see what's available!
Q3: GM!!!! The new crystals are sometimes not compounding on my armor and weapons! Is it a bug? I also tried applying them on one of the avatar hats I made but it??s not working - is it a bug too?
ZedGM: No, they are not bugged. The new crystals (Avatar Crystals) are only applicable to avatar items that can be manufactured. Also, please check the Crystal Enhancing Info to see which crystal can be applied to that specific avatar item and to find out how many crystal avatar you can put there.

The player of the month is gemini622, a town chief of Sheburry, third term guardian angel in a row, and a wife of Naish of Shenburry.
Gemini622 has been playing this game for a year now, but has been watching her husband play it since 2006. Her husband suggested the game to her, so she started playing it. She enjoys it because she can meet other people, teach new players, manufacture items for others, and help others. She also enjoys being a Guardian Angel for the third term in a row now, informing townies about new events, and chatting.
In Luminary, she likes to manufacture shoes, meds, belts, armors, helmets and all weapons, cooking, ironware and tools. She enjoys being a GA because she loves to be a mentor. Some things that she doesn't like are people using subs. Additionally, she dislikes it when people say bad things about other people in the forum, especially those who embarrass and harass other players, or point fingers for no reason.
When asked what her message for all of Luminary was, she said, "I wanted to say that I hope in my time here, I can make things a bit easier, a bit more comfortable for those who need it and that I can be friend that welcomes them into the world of Luminary."
