GoonZu Elections
As we enter 2010, this month is the start of our GoonZu election for Season 10. Players are all busy campaigning for their GoonZu by posting ads for their candidate. Zeus has five candidates: bdizzle, CanadianLoveMac, arkhanos, BrainzzDead and Hiroshimo. Athena has four candidated: Cobrak1, HikaruX3, Frampton01 and Reborn. Last but not the least, Hera has four candidates: Fighter9912, Bluemoon, DeathShot12 and FrostBite517. Many players believe in their ability to lead and their platforms are good as well. Many of the mentioned candidates deserve to be GoonZu of their respected server, but as the saying goes "There can be only one" The voting is currently on-going now and all are excited for the winner to be crowned GoonZu of each server.
Fortune Cookie Event
Know your fortune? Collect the missing pieces of the fortune cookies and try to manufacture it. Then the cookie will tell you if you're lucky or will have bad luck. If lucky, you have a chance to get an additional boost to your character, and if you recieve bad luck, finish the quest to get back the fortune! This event starts Dec 31, 2009 up to Feb 2, 2010.

Fellow Luminarians, Luminary Online is making our way to the top by conquering these two game portals. You can help us conquer them by simply voting for our beloved game. As we get the victory, great rewards will be dispersed all over the server!

Saakua from Athena Server
Our Player Profile for this month is Saakua from Athena. She is often called Eden by her friends and those who are close to her. She's been playing Luminary Online for 2 years now. "Doesn't that make me Luminary addicted?"she relpies. Even though she has been playing for a while, she said she's still learning the game (even though she's very knowledgeable or shall we say Lumi guru). Her positions achieved for the past 2 yrs of playing were marvelous: Guardian Angel (4 times), Police (2 times), Minister White Tiger, Town Chief in different towns, and of course who'll ever forget....GoonZu of Season 7.
When she was asked of her favorite place to hunt and why, she answered, "Baekdusan, the music is cool there haha XD even though I don't hunt much there anymore..."Then when she was asked of her favorite monster and why, she answered immediately, "Evil Raccoons, they are uber cute! I didn't want to kill it the first time I played coz it's too cute. Actually it took me 30mins before daring to click on one haha??
After having fun with our interview, now we got serious and asked her what she would like to accomplish in game. "Hmmm becoming GoonZu once again if possible, and just be there for the ones who need me, or try the ministers spot I've never seen before.??When asked if she's going to run for GoonZu again for the next election, she replid,"Eh, not really confirmation but still under consideration.
Maybe season 11, it's not sure yet though. "I'm sure many Athenians will be delighted if she runs again. We'll be waiting for your decision then Saakua!Before we end this interview, we ask her if there's anything she wants to say to her friends. "Hii<3 don't let the drama get to you. Also, Happy New Year 2010 :D I wish Athena could go back to the peaceful Athena server back then though. Happy New Year and enjoy the game :D our GMs rock! Hehe.??br /> There you have it Luminarians. The Amazing Guardian Sarah Frost heads your way this December. This lovely freezing guardian will surely boost your water elemental attack, however this amazing guardian was not transferable so only lucky people will be able to get it.

Zed: The election is about to finish and the new Goonzu will be appointed.
Kimel: Then what's wrong?
Zed: WHAT'S WRONG? You're asking me what's wrong??? I have been waiting for the election for a long time and whenever I register it's always fails.
Kimel: LOL, Zeddy why do you always want to be Goonzu?
Zed: Because I really want to be the Goonzu.
Kimel: If you're a Goonzu you will be the leader and get rich, right?
Zed: Kinda
Kimel: LOL but you're already a GM! You can't be GoonZu!
Zed: Hmm??ok, I give up. But the Goonzu that will be appointed will surely be irritated by me, haha.
 Fortune Cookie
For January, this new event will enable you to manufacture your own fortune cookies by simply collecting the pieces from hunting monsters, fishing, farming, mining and dismantling of your items on NPC Tin Tin. Once you've gotten the pieces, you can now craft the Fortune Cookie!. Use the cookie to receive your fortune. This cookie will tell you if you're lucky by giving you a random boost or get a chance to get a Tinky spirit on your character. But if you get bad luck, you will get a quest and an icon of bad fortune in which you will need to finish a certain quest to removed that said bad luck icon.

This special Raccoon Bag that will be launched this month and will be the most amazing Box ever!
